DAY 5: BATH

THE name of the cafe said it all: Same Same but Different.

It's a familiar phrase I've seen on T-shirts in Asia but it applies just as nicely to Bath.

Three glorious hours losing ourselves in Bath and I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon or longer.

Roman baths give the town its name but the all-encompassing sandstone buildings are the most amazing sight. Bath Stone is a golden coloured, granular limestone deposited during the Jurassic era. Just about every home, shop and business in Bath is built using it and in similar architectural designs.

So as you drive in, the houses on the hillsides all look similar at first glance but are distinctly individual up close with house-proud gardens and impressive doors.

Still, I'm sure you'd never find your accommodation after a big night out!

Squirrel count: 7.
